Today we’re posting fotos from our guest Siggi. This hot tiger racer was spotted in the 2nd district close to the Kamelitter market.
Das Waffenrad ist wahrscheinlich das schönste und langlebigste Rad das in Österreich je produziert wurde. Damals dachte kein Mensch an Nachhaltigkeit. Kein Mensch dachte daran das wir CO2 reduzieren müssen. Ein Fahrrad musste dich einfach nur von Zuhause in die Arbeit, zum Greiser oder zu Freunden bringen. Leider sind die vielen Vorteile dieser Zeit ins Hintertreffen gelangt und wir leben in schnellen und schmutzigen Städten. Die Stabilität, Nachhaltigkeit und Qualität des Waffenrades beweist uns aber, dass es anders geht. Sie erinnert uns daran, dass wir unsere Stadt geniessen können und dabei leicht was für den Mensch und die Umwelt machen können.
Um nicht zu vergessen, das Waffenrad ist auch unglaublich Cycle Chic.
The Waffenrad is maybe the most durable and beautiful bicycle ever produced in Austria. Back then people didn’t think about sustainability. Nobody thought about cutting the carbon footprint. The bicycle was used to get you to work, to the grocer or to your friends. Sadly most of these advantages of the bicycle are forgotten today and we live in fast and dirty cities. The stability, sustainability and quality of the Waffenrad proofs that we can do better. It reminds us that we can enjoy our cities and along live easier to do good for us and the environment.
And the Waffenrad is certainly Cycle Chic.

Frühlingsnächte sind manchmal noch recht frisch. Da kann man schon mal eine Jacke oder einen dicken Pulli vertragen. Trotzdem ist das Radln im Frühling fein. Die erste Sonne wärmt uns und die Nächte sind kühl genug um uns zu erfrischen.

Nights in spring are sometimes quite fresh, so you might need ajaket or a pullover. Still cycling during spring times is great. The sun during the day is warm and nights are refreshing cool.

Hunde begleiten uns durch Leben und auch oft überall hin. Egal bo Gross oder Klein, ob braun, grau oder schwarz sie wollen immer beim Menschen sein. Deshalb nehmen wir sie mit dem Fahrrad mit. Manche laufen neben her oder manche sitzen im Korb. Egal wie sie immer auch uns folgen sie fliegen mit uns durch die Stadt.

Dogs are our beloved companions and follow us everywhere. No matter if they’re big or small, grey brown or black they want to be with us. That’s why we take them with us on our bicycles. Some run next to the bike, some other have a basket. As long as there with us life’s good.
